Morteza Safai is OhmFree’s Founder. As CEO and inventor, Morteza is leading OhmFree's fundraising efforts to secure VC investment for prototype R&D, building on his Boeing experience. He is a prolific physicist and engineer with over 360 patents and 32 years of experience advancing aerospace inspection and sensing technologies.

As a Boeing Technical Fellow and Engineer of the Year, he led critical initiatives including NASA’s Advanced Composites Program, advanced battery inspection for 787 aircraft, and development of quantum dot and X-ray backscattering systems for nondestructive testing.

His innovations in structural health monitoring and automated inspection have been recognized recognized in many hundreds of issued patents worldwide. He is the recipient of the 2020 IEEE Aerospace Conference Best Paper Award and 2021 Asian American Engineer of the Year recognition.
